Anna Luberg · IBCLC, CBS · Mom of 3

Personal lactation care, in your home or online.

Breastfeeding can feel overwhelming — especially in a world flooded with conflicting advice. No two families are alike, and the support you need shouldn't be either. I work one-on-one with each parent and baby to make feeding feel practical, sustainable, and as natural as your next breath.

About

Hi, I'm Anna.

As a mom of three and an immigrant, I know first-hand how overwhelming the postpartum period can feel — and how lonely and disoriented a new mother can become in it. I've felt for myself how easy it is to get lost in the endless stream of information, family advice, opinions from the internet, and other people's expectations — especially while your body and emotions are still adjusting after birth.

That's exactly why breastfeeding support, for me, has to be calm, gentle, and free of judgment — in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace, and with full respect for your decisions and your circumstances.

For more than three years I've supported families through different stages of breastfeeding — as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at WIC Vancouver, and now as a board-certified IBCLC and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) working with families at home and over video.

Every family has its own story, its own struggles, and its own goals. Whether you're nursing directly, feeding expressed milk, using formula, or combining different approaches — my job isn't to push an "ideal" plan on you. It's to help you find a sustainable, realistic, and comfortable solution that fits your family.

What I help with

Calm, clear support for the hardest parts of feeding a baby.

From a first in-person assessment to building a daily routine — here are the most common things families bring me. If yours isn't on the list, ask — chances are I've seen it.

  • Positioning & ergonomic latch — comfort for both of you
  • Nipple pain, breast trauma & engorgement
  • Low milk supply — finding causes and protecting what you have
  • Supplementation that protects latch — paced bottle, SNS, cup, spoon, syringe
  • Slow weight gain or feeding refusal
  • Tongue & lip tie questions
  • Pump fit, output & hand expression technique
  • Introducing solids without compromising supply
  • Gentle weaning
  • Returning to work with a feeding plan
  • Daily routine & sleep organization
Services

Three ways to work together.

Every consult ends with a written plan you'll actually use. No lectures, no upsells — just the next three things to try, built for your specific family.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Don't see yours? Send me a note.

Do you take insurance?+
I'm not currently in-network with insurance. I provide a superbill after each visit, which many families submit for partial reimbursement. The Lactation Network and Aeroflow may also offer covered visits depending on your plan — happy to point you in the right direction.
Do you do home visits in Vancouver and Portland?+
Yes. Home visits are included within 15 miles of Camas (covers most of Vancouver and east/central Portland). A modest travel fee applies beyond that — quoted when you book.
What if my baby is bottle-fed or combo feeding?+
Absolutely welcome. Lactation support isn't only for exclusive breastfeeding — pace-fed bottles, combo plans, and paced weaning are all part of my practice. The goal is a plan that fits your life, whatever that looks like.
When should I book after birth?+
Sooner is better if something feels off. Most families book an initial consult in the first 1–3 weeks, but it's never too late. If you're close to delivery and want to lock in a slot, prenatal booking is available.
What if I need help urgently?+
I'll try to fit you in the same week whenever possible. If your baby is showing signs of dehydration, illness, or you're in medical distress, please call your pediatrician or 911 first — this isn't emergency care.
How do I prepare for the visit?+
Time the visit near your baby's hungry window if you can. Have your pump parts, any bottles you use, and your intake form handy. Wear something comfortable. Partners and support people are very welcome.
