Hi, I'm Anna.
As a mom of three and an immigrant, I know first-hand how overwhelming the postpartum period can feel — and how lonely and disoriented a new mother can become in it. I've felt for myself how easy it is to get lost in the endless stream of information, family advice, opinions from the internet, and other people's expectations — especially while your body and emotions are still adjusting after birth.
That's exactly why breastfeeding support, for me, has to be calm, gentle, and free of judgment — in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace, and with full respect for your decisions and your circumstances.
My work in lactation support began many years ago in mother-to-mother breastfeeding support communities, where I learned the importance of calm, individualized, relationship-centered care. Over time, that foundation evolved into professional clinical practice. For the past several years, I have supported families as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at WIC Vancouver, and now as a board-certified IBCLC and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS), providing personalized care in families' homes and over video.
Every family has its own story, its own struggles, and its own goals. Whether you're nursing directly, feeding expressed milk, using formula, or combining different approaches — my job isn't to push an "ideal" plan on you. It's to help you find a sustainable, realistic, and comfortable solution that fits your family.
